Update 7/22/2020 - Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we extended the deadline for submissions to November 1, 2020.

Additionally, we have a street audit in electronic form that you can share with your neighbors via email. This can be used in placed of the Slow Streets Petition. Please contact us if you would like further details.

Vision Zero NKY is sponsoring a contest where qualifying neighborhood groups can win up to $50,000 in funding for the installation of street calming materials.

Vision Zero’s NKY Slow Streets program asks residential neighborhoods to nominate themselves for traffic-calming initiatives. If community groups can demonstrate there’s enough support and need, their street will receive quick, low-cost safety improvements.

A kick-off event was held at 10 AM, March 3rd, 2020 at the Kenton County Library, Covington Branch. All attendees will receive a free copy of the NACTO Urban Street Design Guide.
